Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Desert Christian upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Valley Union lost 78-44 in their recent non-league bout against NFL Yet Academy (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Vipers play the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a bout, on Thursday, February 1. San Miguel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
