James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), 42-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, James F. Byrnes upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Rebels host Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-2.

Next up, the Rams play the Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) in a bout, on Monday, January 29. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
