Phillips Wildcats (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 72-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Phillips upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Carver (Chicago, IL) to play the Challengers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Challengers go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Carver won 66-30 in their recent league bout against Woodlawn (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Caxys play the Francis W. Parker Colonels (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Lake Forest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 37-29 non-league win over Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL).
