The Carrick Raiders basketball team scored 93 points and limited the visiting Aquinas Academy Crusaders to 83 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Raiders now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Brashear for a Pittsburgh City game on Tuesday, January 28. Carrick will confront a Bulls team coming off a 61-24 league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulls record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Aquinas Academy falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Cornell (Coraopolis, PA) to confront the Raiders in a WPIAL 1A 1 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 1-8.
