The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) and the host Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA), observed Armstrong's basketball team overcome Richmond City School of the Arts by a margin of 61-44.

The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Mustangs come into the Capital challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Mechanicsville dropped by Henrico (Richmond, VA), 81-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Richmond City School of the Arts will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 73-56 league win over Midlothian (Midlothian, VA).
