Kentucky High School Basketball - Bluegrass thwarts Todd County Central

January 27, 2025: Elkton, KY 42220

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bluegrass Blazers (Bowling Green, KY) and the host Todd County Central Rebels (Elkton, KY), observed Bluegrass's basketball team knock off Todd County Central by a score of 76-59.

The Blazers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against CSTHEA (Chattanooga, TN). The Patriots come into the Mid South HomeSchool challenge with a 18-9 record. In their last challenge, CSTHEA prevailed over Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN), 65-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) in a District 13 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Todd County Central will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 83-53 league loss to Logan County (Russellville, KY).
