In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Pella Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 70-67 triumph over the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes.

The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Warriors go into the Little Hawkeye contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Norwalk was tipped by Pella (Pella, IA), 66-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Big Reds/Redettes confront the Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Centerville will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Blue Demons go into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 80-43 league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA).
