The Tigers (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ). The Wolves come into the 2A West challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Mountainside was knocked off by North Phoenix Preparatory Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 39-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Kingman Bulldogs (Kingman, AZ) in a 3A West challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Chino Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-16 record after their 80-29 league loss to Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ).
