The Stars now possess a 2-15 record. They play next when they host Hinsdale Adventist Academy for a Metro Prep bout on Monday, February 3.
With the loss, Excel Academy of South Shore falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to DuSable (Chicago, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-7.
