The Pendleton County Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Holmes Bulldogs to 56 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Robertson County for a District 38 game on Tuesday, January 28. Pendleton County will confront a Black Devils team coming off a 75-29 league loss to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Black Devils record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Holmes falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY) to confront the Tigers in a District 35 game on Friday, January 31. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 11-6. Beechwood won 64-41 in their recent non-league game against Boone County (Florence, KY)
