Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Millersburg bests Newport

January 27, 2025: Newport, PA 17074

The Millersburg Indians basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Newport Buffaloes to 36 in the Indians league triumph on Monday.

The Indians now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Line Mountain for a Tri-Valley game on Thursday, January 30. Millersburg will confront a Eagles team coming off a 54-43 league win over East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Newport falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA) to confront the WolfPack in a Tri-Valley game on Thursday, January 30. The WolfPack go into the game with a record of 10-6. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy won 63-50 in their recent league game against East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA)
