The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) and the visiting St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN), observed Minnesota Valley Lutheran's basketball team overcome St. Mary's by a margin of 74-65.

The Chargers (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Buccaneers come into the AA Section 2 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Blue Earth dropped by Waseca (Waseca, MN), 64-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. St. Mary's will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Rabbits come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 84-81 non-league win over Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN).
