The New Hampton Chickasaws nipped the host North Butler Bearcats basketball squad by a final score of 48-43 in Monday's non-league game.

The Chickasaws now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to North Fayette Valley for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30.

With the loss, North Butler falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Osage (Osage, IA) to play the Green Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Green Devils go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Osage won 73-64 in their recent league bout against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA)
