Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 58-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Whitehorse advances its record to 8-8 on the year. The Raiders travel to Pinnacle (Price, UT) to face the Panthers in a 1A Region 19 match on Thursday, January 30. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 6-13. Pinnacle won 73-37 in their recent league match against Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT)
The Redskins now own a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredonia for a 1A North match on Tuesday, January 28. Red Mesa will face a Lynx squad coming off a 54-43 league win over Rough Rock (Chinle, AZ). The Lynx record now stands at 3-16.
