The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME) and the host Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), observed Wiscasset's basketball team edge Temple Academy by a margin of 58-56.

The Wolverines (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Telstar (Bethel, ME). The Rebels come into the D South challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Telstar edged Carrabec (North Anson, ME), 60-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bereans battle the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) in a D South challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Temple Academy will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 58-35 league loss to Buckfield (Buckfield, ME).
