In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Pine City Dragons basketball team scored a good 64-55 triumph over the Barnum Bombers.

The Dragons (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pierz (Pierz, MN). The Pioneers go into the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Pierz was topped by Milaca (Milaca, MN), 79-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bombers battle the Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN) in a AA Section 7 contest, on Thursday, January 30. Barnum will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Agates go into the contest with a 9-15 record after their 73-15 non-league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, MN).
