In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Holden Rockets basketball team scored a big 67-26 triumph over the Benjamin Franklin Falcons.
The Rockets (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the B District 7 contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Mt. Hermon was trounced by Franklinton (Franklinton, LA), 48-13, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA) in a 5A District 10 contest, on Thursday, January 30. Benjamin Franklin will attempt to better on its 13-15 season record. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a 7-14 record after their 43-27 non-league loss to Covington (Covington, LA).
