In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Winooski Spartans basketball team scored a big 57-17 triumph over the Blue Mountain Bucks.
The Spartans (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax, VT). The Bullets go into the Mountain contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Bellows Free Academy was trounced by Williamstown (Williamstown, VT), 53-41, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bucks battle the Twinfield Trojans (Plainfield, VT) in a CVL contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Blue Mountain will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 73-21 non-league win over Northfield (Northfield, VT).
