The Boardman Spartans basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting East to 43 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now have a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Austintown-Fitch for a All-American game on Wednesday, January 29. Boardman will confront a Falcons team coming off a 63-34 league loss to Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, East falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The host Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to confront the Fighting Irish in a Freelance game on Monday, February 3. The Fighting Irish go into the game with a record of 5-12.
