In Monday's league contest, the visiting Havana Ducks basketball team scored a good 47-35 triumph over the Brimfield Indians.

The Ducks (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL). The Spartans go into the Prairieland contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Bushnell-Prairie City was topped by Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL), 50-26, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Biggsville West Central Heat (Biggsville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Brimfield will attempt to better on its 17-8 season record. The Heat go into the contest with a 7-15 record after their 57-49 league win over ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL).
