The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH) and the visiting St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH), observed Edison's basketball team overwhelm St. Clairsville by a score of 49-15.
The Wildcats (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Beaver Local (Lisbon, OH). The Beavers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Beaver Local was routed by Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH), 41-35, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. St. Clairsville will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 44-38 non-league loss to Bellaire (Bellaire, OH).
