Louisiana High School Basketball - Grant victorious over Rapides

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Grant Cougars basketball team scored a good 40-23 triumph over the Rapides Mustangs.
The Cougars (4-18) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown (Georgetown, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 8-18 record. In their last contest, Georgetown was topped by Glenbrook (Minden, LA), 39-23, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA) in a 2A District 5 contest, on Friday, January 31. Rapides will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Red Devils go into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 40-35 non-league win over Northside Christian (Crowley, LA).
