The Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) basketball crushed the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 45-19 in Monday's league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Huntingtown for a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, January 29. Great Mills will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 43-29 league win over McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, McDonough falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Rams host La Plata (La Plata, MD) to play the Warriors in a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-13. La Plata lost 64-31 in their recent league bout against Northern (Owings, MD)
