The Menifee County Wildcats basketball squad (Frenchburg, KY), was nudged 56-51 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY)
With the victory, Montgomery County advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Indians host Campbell County (Alexandria, KY) to meet the Camels in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. The Camels enter the battle with a record of 12-5. Campbell County won 63-57 in their recent league battle against Scott (Covington, KY)
The Wildcats now own a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowan County for a District 61 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Menifee County will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 59-33 league win over Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 10-6.
