In Monday's league test, the Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) basketball squad trounced the visiting New Lima Falcons (New Lima, OK), by a final score of 56-18.
Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) in a Little River test, on Friday, January 31. Strother will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Whippets come into the test with a 13-6 record after their 62-43 league win over Sasakwa (Sasakwa, OK).
The Falcons (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Moss (Holdenville, OK). The Pirates go into the Little River contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Moss smashed Macomb (Macomb, OK), 63-48, in a league contest.
