Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) and the host Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ), saw Canyon View's soccer squad knock off Centennial by a score of 2-0.

The Jaguars (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Vipers enter the 5A Desert West battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Verrado tipped La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Coyotes confront the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A Northwest battle, on Wednesday, January 29. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ).
