The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) and the visiting Mason Comets (Mason, OH), witnessed Troy's ice hockey team defeat Mason by a final score of 8-3.
The Trojans (19-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitmer (Toledo, OH). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Whitmer was routed by Southview (Sylvania, OH), 6-5, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH) in a challenge, on Sunday, February 2. Mason will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
