Florida High School Basketball - Middleburg can't hold off Union County

The Union County Fightin' Tigers nipped the visiting Middleburg Broncos basketball team by a margin of 65-62 in Monday's non-league contest.

The Fightin' Tigers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Baker County (Glen St. Mary, FL). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Baker County edged Union County (Lake Butler, FL), 50-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Keystone Heights Indians (Keystone Heights, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Middleburg will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
