The Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) basketball were winner over the visiting Strawberry Crest Chargers (Dover, FL), 71-55 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 14-6 record.

With the loss, Strawberry Crest falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Chargers host Brandon (Brandon, FL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-5. Brandon won 100-1 in their recent non-league game against Lennard (Ruskin, FL)
