In Friday's non-league outing, the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) basketball squad felled the visiting Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA), by a margin of 56-41.
The Cougars (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 6-9 record.
The Warriors now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Emmetsburg for a Twin Lakes outing on Tuesday, February 1. Alta-Aurelia will clash with a E'Hawks squad coming off a 54-42 non-league loss to West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The E'Hawks record now stands at 0-17.
