In Friday's league outing, the Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) basketball squad edged the host Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), by a count of 96-91.

The Panthers (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots go into the Bay Valley outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Heritage was tipped by Freedom (Oakley, CA), 62-43, in a league outing.
