In Friday's non-league outing, the Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs (Hays, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Abilene Cowboys (Abilene, KS), by a count of 56-26.
The Monarchs (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Trego (WaKeeney, KS). The Golden Eagles go into the Mid-Continent outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Trego smashed Plainville (Plainville, KS), 51-19, in a league outing.
