East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA), 61-49 in a league bout.
With the win, East St. John upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Hahnville (Boutte, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-14. Hahnville won 53-36 in their recent league bout against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Thibodaux will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 32-29 league win over Abbeville (Abbeville, LA).
