Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT), 71-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Albany Academy for Boys upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY) to play the Plainsmen in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Plainsmen come into the bout with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Green Knights play the Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) in a Metro bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Rice Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 51-31 league loss to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT).
