The Blackford Bruins basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Jay County Patriots to 44 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bruins now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tipton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Patriots (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Fountain City, IN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 14-3 record.
