The St. Ignatius Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Buchtel Griffins to 56 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Edward for a Freelance contest on Friday, February 3. St. Ignatius will meet a Eagles team coming off a 65-59 league win over St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 15-0.

The Griffins (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Firestone (Akron, OH). The Falcons enter the Akron City contest with a 6-9 record.
