The Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) basketball knocked off the host Lithonia Bulldogs (Lithonia, GA), 64-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Saints (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Carver (Atlanta, GA). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 5 test with a 0-19 record. In their last test, Carver went down by McNair (Atlanta, GA), 49-47, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Tucker for a AAAAA Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 31. Lithonia will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-46 league win over Decatur (Decatur, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 16-5.
