Simeon Wolverines (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO), 70-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Simeon upgrades its record to 21-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Catalyst-Maria (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 15-5.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Christian Brothers Cadets (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 19-1 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 66-54 non-league loss to East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL).
