Illinois High School Basketball - Triad knocked off by Centralia

The Centralia Orphans basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Triad Knights to 39 in the Orphans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Orphans now sport a 18-4 record. They play next when they host Mater Dei for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. Centralia will play a Knights squad coming off a 56-37 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Knights record now stands at 11-12.

Next up, the Knights play the SIUE East St. Louis Charter (East St. Louis, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Triad will attempt to upgrade on its 20-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Mississippi Valley Christian (Alton, IL).
