New Mexico High School Basketball - Roswell trounces Chaparral

The Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), 74-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Coyotes (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles go into the 5A District 4 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Hobbs walloped Clovis (Clovis, NM), 74-56, in a league test.
The Lobos now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Deming for a 4A District 3 test on Tuesday, January 31. Chaparral will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-60 non-league win over Cathedral (El Paso, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-9.
