California High School Basketball - South Tahoe nudges Churchill County

In Saturday's non-league outing, the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), by a count of 69-62.

The Vikings (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Wooster (Reno, NV). The Colts go into the 3A Northern - West outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Wooster was tipped by Sparks (Sparks, NV), 46-42, in a league outing.

The Greenwave now hold a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Fernley for a 3A Northern - East outing on Friday, February 3. Churchill County will clash with a Vaqueros squad coming off a 60-32 league win over Elko (Elko, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 19-4.
