Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Open Door Christian Patriots (Elyria, OH), 57-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Columbia upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Orrville (Orrville, OH) to play the Red Riders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Red Riders come into the bout with a record of 3-14. Orrville lost 70-55 in their recent league bout against Canton South (Canton, OH)

Next up, the Patriots play the North Vikings (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Open Door Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 0-20 record after their 71-33 non-league loss to Lincoln West (Cleveland, OH).
