The Cranford Cougars basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Johnson Crusaders to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oratory Prep for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1. Cranford will meet a Rams team coming off a 70-52 non-league win over Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 10-7.
The Crusaders (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Governor Livingston was outscored by Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ), 70-52, in a non-league contest.
