DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), 91-78 in a non-league bout.

With the win, DeLaSalle upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Islanders host Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Robbinsdale Cooper won 70-62 in their recent non-league bout against Park (Cottage Grove, MN)

Next up, the Royals play the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Hopkins will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 76-61 non-league loss to Edina (Edina, MN).
