The Hillel Academy basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Denver Academy of Torah Wolves to 19 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.
The now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlanta Jewish Academy for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 29. Hillel Academy will battle a Jaguar team coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Farber Hebrew Day (Southfield, MI). The Jaguar record now stands at 6-7.
The Wolves (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus Torah Academy (Columbus, OH). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Columbus Torah Academy was routed by Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH), 57-37, in a league contest.
