In Saturday's non-league match, the host Southern Lab Kittens basketball team scored a decisive 58-33 triumph over the Dutchtown Griffins.
In their next game, the Kittens face the Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) in a 1A District 9 match, on Wednesday, February 1. Southern Lab will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record.
With the defeat, Dutchtown moves to 6-10 on the year. The Griffins host Live Oak (Watson, LA) to face the Eagles in a 5A District 5 match on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-11.
