East Feliciana Tigers (Jackson, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), 45-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Feliciana upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The go into the bout with a record of 24-1. Madison Prep Academy won 63-44 in their recent non-league bout against Iowa (Iowa, LA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-19 record after their 63-27 non-league loss to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA).
