The St. Joseph Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Eastern Vikings to 52 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Egg Harbor Township for a Cape/Atlantic - American contest on Tuesday, January 31. St. Joseph will meet a Eagles team coming off a 37-34 non-league loss to Cherokee (Marlton, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 16-4.

The Vikings (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Gateway Regional nudged Schalick (Pittsgrove, NJ), 46-36, in a non-league contest.
