In Saturday's non-league outing, the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL), by a margin of 41-37.
The Farmers (19-8) will now prepare for their outing against Orion (Orion, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 9-15 record. In their last outing, Orion got by Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL), 42-37, in a league outing.
The Boilermakers now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they host St. Bede for a Three Rivers - East outing on Tuesday, January 31. Kewanee will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 8-17.
