The Garfield Boilermakers basketball team (Garfield, NJ), was toppled 59-40 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ)
The Cardinals now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Dell for a Big North - Patriot battle on Tuesday, January 31. Westwood will confront a Golden Hawks team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 13-5.
The Boilermakers (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Saddle Brook was toppled by New Milford (New Milford, NJ), 66-45, in a non-league battle.
